This afternoon I spent a gorgeous afternoon ambling through the park with my family. With no rain or fog, the ground was nice and dry so there was no worries of muddy feet/bottoms (…then inevitably muddy parents!).
On days like this, you can definitely let the photos do the talking!
Recently I’ve found myself mentioning to a few people how much I love the distinct seasons in England. Christmas time always felt odd in Australia (where I spent the bulk of my growing up years) having been born in England, where I have childhood memories of it being cold. So now that I am back, Christmas time feels more ‘right’.
You can’t exactly find ‘traditional’ Christmas plants, like holly, in Sunny Queensland in the middle of November can you! This is the difference between living in the Northern Hemisphere vs the Southern Hemisphere. The fact that natural surroundings, which add to the experience of seasonal celebrations, play an important part which cannot be controlled.
